I have been a global traveler for both work and leisure over the last 3 decades. I have mastered the art of living out of a small carry-on bag and my trusty backpack for weeks at a time. My experience has taught me that planning and research is key. My ability to efficiently pack, prep and research has led me to now enjoy the Van life with my husband on the weekends, exploring most of the Midwest and gulf coast by Sprinter Van. When not in the van, we’re planning a cruise!

As a family we all enjoy cruising, it’s our favorite thing to do together and with two teenage boys finding activities that check off all the boxes requires some dedication. As a family we enjoy researching different destinations which then help us choose our ship and our itinerary. We’ve learned that the ship can be just as much a destination as the ports of call.

As the official family activities director, I was able to find various activities for everyone, which isn’t easy with multiple tastes and preferences but swimming with the stingrays was a hit with everyone! The entire family still talks about it to this very day.
